Year 11 Cybersecurity Competition
A group of Y11 Computer Science students attended a Cybersecurity Competition run by the Army at their Blandford Camp. The main task involved the teams using a variety of Cybersecurity techniques and equipment to work out the location and method of an impending(but not real!) Cyber-attack on UK. Alongside the competition students where given demonstrations of the latest equipment used by a range of Army Signals and Cybersecurity regiments.
The team came a very creditable 5th out 17 teams from a variety of Dorset schools. I was very proud of the focus, enthusiasm and team-work the boys demonstrated consistently throughout the day, which they all said they thoroughly enjoyed.
