On Friday 13th December, the school community came together for our Christmas Campaign: Hope for Food.
As part of our behaviour policy, in every lesson, each student is given a score. Students receiving a 7 have exceeded expectations for the lesson. The following week the names of the students will be compiled and they will each receive 7 house points. Shortly after this, they will be presented with their Super 7 wristband which provides them with:

GCSE and A Level certificates have now arrived at the school and are available to collect from Monday 16th December 2024.
The Purbeck School is in the top 6% of schools in the country for the GCSE results. This is a fantastic achievement and places the school as the top performing school in Dorset, and the 385th highest placed school in the country.
The Purbeck Sixth Form was delighted to welcome speakers from the Many Faiths Together team on Wednesday 11th December. Our five guests represented the ideas of five different belief systems: Lynda (Judaism), James (Church of England), David (Humanism), Sister Tama (Islam) and Sali (Buddhism).

On Friday 29th 47 Y8 students went to Studland Bay on the second of the Y8 Geography Enrichment Days. Students were very lucky with a mostly sunny day.
All the girls' hard work came to fruition last night, when the A-Team played superb netball throughout the four games they played. The defence was on fire and other teams found it hard to score goals past Olivia and Alice.
