The aim of the course is to enable pupils to develop their leadership skills within the context of the natural environment.  In their first meeting, they used their hands to identify key aspects of nature and discussed what those aspects mean to them and to the wider community. As the course progresses, pupils will plan and carry out tasks within the community, offering them real life skills as well as delivering real benefit to the local community on the Isle of Purbeck. We are very grateful to the National Trust for this opportunity and can’t wait to see how the pupils and the projects develop.
