Congratulations to our 6th form students in the 2025 RSC Chemistry Olympiad!
We are thrilled to announce that our 6th form students have excelled in the 2025 Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Chemistry Olympiad, bringing home an impressive array of awards. Our talented students have earned 6 Bronze, 2 Silver, and 1 Gold award, showcasing their exceptional skills and dedication to the subject.
The RSC Chemistry Olympiad is a prestigious competition that challenges students with complex chemistry problems, encouraging them to apply their knowledge and think critically. This year, over 16,000 students from 1,502 schools participated in Round 1. The competition is designed to test the depth of understanding and problem-solving abilities of upper sixth form students, although ambitious lower sixth form students are also encouraged to participate.
A special mention goes to Suzie Dring, who achieved the prestigious Gold award, placing her in the top 8% of entrants nationwide. This is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to Suzie's hard work and passion for chemistry.
Congratulations once again to all our award winners! Your achievements are an inspiration to us all.
Keep up the fantastic work!
