As part of our behaviour policy, in every lesson, each student is given a score. Students receiving a 7 have exceeded expectations for the lesson. The following week the names of the students will be compiled and they will each receive 7 house points. Shortly after this, they will be presented with their Super 7 wristband which provides them with: 

Queue jump for themselves and one friend for all break times and lunch times throughout the week.

An invite for a Friday hot chocolate with the Headteacher and House Leaders.

There was 4 Events over the weekend with 134 players from all over the world. Some already England and Scotland Champions.

What Parents and Educators Need to Know about Palworld

Some year 9 and 10 pupils enjoyed a whole day workshop on Entrepreneurial Skills delivered by the Southern Universities Network. In teams of four, they were tasked with setting up a Festival for under 18s. They had to brainstorm ideas for a theme, design the festival site, create detailed costings to ensure revenue and profit, design a social media marketing programme for their target audience, and create logos and merchandise. The day ended with each group pitching their proposal to the judges and their fellow pupils. The judges chose ‘Flower Fest’ for their attention to detail and going above and beyond their brief, while the pupil vote went to ‘ESports’ for their creative and imaginative festival programme.

Y10 Workshops

Medical Mavericks came in to school this week and every Year 10 student was given the opportunity to learn about careers in the NHS ( which is over 300 different careers!).

On Monday morning, Chris Evans passed on Mark & Clare's best wishes to all Year 11 students sitting their GCSEs! What a nice message to start this week's exams and a surprise to find out it was two of our own Science teachers - Mr Nicolaides and Mrs Stewart.
