Year 7 Special
Access to the library is generally first come first served until the space is full, which means lots of Year 7s have been disappointed to find it difficult to come in on certain days. So Tuesday this week was a ‘Year 7 Special’, giving them exclusive use to the space.
Over 80 pupils attended, reading and choosing books, playing board games, and making the most of the ‘Mindfulness Station’ which is always available with puzzles and colouring. Two pupil library assistants helped out by showing pupils where everything is, and recommending their favourite books. We will certainly repeat this event, and perhaps extend to other year groups on other days.
