Parents Information Evenings

We would like to thank all parents for your support over the first few weeks of the school year. Students have returned from the summer break with a good attitude to learning and we have been delighted with how our they have settled back into their lessons.

In order for students to maximise their learning, it is crucial that they are fully supported in their classwork, home learning and long-term revision. The support that you can offer your child at home will play a key role in your child’s achievement, and we are confident that, with continued communication between the school and parents/carers and their continued application, they will continue to make good progress towards and beyond their expected levels in their GCSE’s.

 

This week, we delivered a set of Parent Information Evening presentations, which focused on the following areas:

  • The importance of attendance
  • Preparing for Post-16: college and sixth form
  • How to support your child with their home learning
  • How to be successful in the core subjects: English, Maths and Science
