At times, growing up can be a stressful experience. It’s not unheard of for young people to fret about things that could potentially go wrong in their lives – and what implications this would have for their life. In some situations, this can go beyond feeling uneasy about the future and become full-blown anxiety, which affects their mental, emotional and even physical wellbeing.

Bi-annually, we aim to offer students the opportunity to spend a fortnight volunteering in an African country. Prior to Covid, Purbeck visited Rwanda three times – please see the information further on this page. In July 2024, Assistant Head Simon Holmes flew to Ghana with thirteen students from years 11, 12 and 13.
So this weekend, Team Bath hosted a swimming competition at Millfield school. Daisy entered 4 events & won all of them & gained all her new personal best times.
The Purbeck Film Festival was established in 1996
with the aim of bringing a rich variety of cinematic experiences to the rural area of Purbeck.
One extra-curricular activity on offer this year at The Purbeck School was 'Snoods 4 Hounds', an exciting action in the community project.

Our total raised so far is £1,165.00 making us just over half way to our £3000 goal for the school production
On the morning of Friday 12th July, all Year 8 students will be off timetable (Periods 1 & 2) for our Inspirations Morning.
