TEFLing at Purbeck
For the first time, a number of our students continued on into the summer holidays for two days to gain a TEFL qualification - teaching English as a foreign language.
We welcomed Iona, who provided the students with numerous strategies, and everyone left with extended horizons and a wide range of transferable skills. Assistant Head Simon Holmes said, ‘The students were brilliant - following Iona’s wonderful guidance, they demonstrated a keen understanding of teaching skills and the English language. It was a pleasure to see.’
