The Purbeck School is a mixed state secondary school and sixth form with a total of 1044 number of students on roll. 33.49% of our students are classified as Pupil Premium, including 20.5% on Free School Meals. Our rural & coastal catchment, provides a diverse community and areas of deprivation. Due to our sixth form size, our curriculum can be limited. In Year 13 we have 80 students. We do not offer AS Core Maths and  can only 15 places to take an EPQ. In 2024, 55% of the Year 13 cohort secured a place at university. 17% in a Russell Group university, which included no Oxbridge students. For further information contact mscott@purbeck.dorset.sch.uk
